Jack White son Henry Lee White turned 18 this week, and the White Stripes frontman marked the milestone with a rare public tribute and personal photos.

The White Stripes frontman posted two images on Instagram: one of himself with his lookalike son, and another showing White holding Henry Lee as a baby.

“Want to wish a very Happy 18th birthday to my one and only son Henry Lee White!” White wrote in the caption. “Been proud of this young man since day one! Keep being you Hank.”

Henry Lee is one of two children White shares with his second wife, model and singer Karen Elson. The pair also has a daughter, Scarlett Teresa White, born in 2006.

White, who married musician Olivia Jean in 2022 during a surprise on-stage ceremony at Detroit’s Masonic Temple, has kept his children largely out of the public eye over the years, making this birthday tribute especially notable for fans.

In addition to the family celebration, White has just one more performance scheduled for the year. He’s set to appear at the CBGB Festival in Brooklyn, New York, on September 27.
