Back in print, the band’s highly collectable one and only album, as part of “The Honeybus Reappraisal Series”. A Hanky Panky / Mapache Records release.
With beautifully reproduced original artwork and newly commissioned work (4-page insert with notes by Thomas Walsh).
In 2018, the Hanky Panky/Mapache Records joint-venture released “The Honeybus Vinyl Series”, four vinyl only LP releases that encompassed the complete studio recordings of 60’s UK baroque pop legends the Honeybus. Now, seven years later, Hanky Panky/Mapache Records are happy to bring those long sold out and out print albums back to vinyl life.
“The Honeybus Reappraisal Series” compromises two vinyl-only releases: “Story”, a direct re-issue of the highly collectable one and only album release by the band from 1970, and “Recital And More: The Pete Dello Years”, a double LP set that gathers together “Recital” -the Holy Grail for Honeybus fans: the unreleased 1973 Warner Bros. Records album- and “For Where Have You Been: The Lost Tracks”, a collection of 13 pop beauties from the lost and found section of the bands career.
In March 1968, “I Can’t Let Maggie Go” the third Honeybus single hit number 8 in the UK and became a huge hit worldwide, but by summer 1969 the band had virtually called it a day. However, the group completed an album’s worth of new material. The album called Story was eventually released without much promotion in March 1970, by which time Honeybus was no more. Story remains a classic of the era, twelve shining gems blending Beatlesque pop, folk, country, baroque pop and gentle psychedelia, that showcase the songwriting talents of Ray Cane and Colin Hare. Produced by Ivor Raymonde.

Took my daughter to Noble Records for the first time today. Friendly staff, cool spot. Store was easy to navigate. My daughter found the Blink album she wanted & we left. Will definitely be back
This is one of the best records places in the Charlotte-Matthew area. They have an amazing selection of sealed & preowned vinyls, cassettes, CDs, and more.
Sometimes I find record stores through research on the cities I visit. Other times fellow collectors might provide advice on where to go. Noble is neither ... I found them through their Instagram presence
