Germany’s Hardest Power Rock Trio
Originally released in 1972 on Polydor, Reaction is a raw, high-voltage blast of Hard Rock, Blues Rock, and Heavy Psych from Hamburg’s loudest and most electrifying trio.
Forged in post-’60s Germany and driven by Peter Braun’s searing guitar work and vision, this overlooked gem finally gets the recognition it deserves. Reissued by Yunque Records, the album delivers a tightly wound, riff-heavy assault that hits hard from the first note to the last—no filler, no compromise. Reaction made a name for themselves onstage with a sound so powerful it rattled the walls of community halls and even got them banned from a festival before their set began.
More than 50 years later, Reaction still sounds urgent, loud, and alive. A defining record that captures the raw spirit of Germany’s ’70s underground rock movement. Turn it up. Let the walls shake.
Tracklist:

Side 2: 1. My Father’s Son – 2. Live is A Wheel – 3. Keep On Trying – 4. On The Highway
Took my daughter to Noble Records for the first time today. Friendly staff, cool spot. Store was easy to navigate. My daughter found the Blink album she wanted & we left. Will definitely be back
This is one of the best records places in the Charlotte-Matthew area. They have an amazing selection of sealed & preowned vinyls, cassettes, CDs, and more.
Sometimes I find record stores through research on the cities I visit. Other times fellow collectors might provide advice on where to go. Noble is neither ... I found them through their Instagram presence
