Yungblud Idols Part Two will arrive later than expected, as the singer revealed he’s working on a surprise project before releasing the second half of his planned two-part album.
In a new interview with NME, the musician — born Dom Harrison — confirmed that Idols: Part Two is “still coming,” but explained that “mad opportunities” in the past month led him to slot another project in between the two parts.
“America has really opened its doors to me, and there’s a lot coming,” Yungblud shared. “What we’re about to announce is wild.”
Describing Idols: Part Two as “a lot darker and a lot heavier,” he admitted it’s already ready for release but said the new opportunity was “something I cannot say no to.”
Alongside his music news, Yungblud recently opened a new London multi-purpose space called Beautifully Romanticized Accidentally Traumatized — or B.R.A.T. for short. Located on the city’s famous Denmark Street, the venue doubles as a store, coffeehouse, bar, poolroom, concert stage, and educational center.
“It’s a flagship to say thank you to the people who listen to my music,” he explained.
Asked about the similarity to Charli XCX’s Brat album title, which dominated pop culture in 2024, Yungblud said he registered the company name four years ago.
“I wrote that down years ago, so it’s a happy coincidence. Great minds think alike.”
